Cleo Blancett, born to Charles & Glysten on April 16, 1933 in Trousdale, OK went home to be with his Lord & Savior on April 26, 2014.

Cleo's childhood years were spent in the Trousdale area. He came to the Yuba-Sutter area in the late forties with his family. Cleo was a graduate of YCHS, class of 1951. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Cleo worked in downtown Yuba City as a barber, then went on to retire after 36 years in the Retail Clerk's Union.

He had a passion for wood working, photography, & art. Cleo loved fast cars, motorcycle riding, and his wife, Decie of 59 years. He was a loving, dedicated husband, father, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley Ann Murphy.

He is survived by his wife, Decie Lucille Blancett; his 4 daughters, Rebecca Lynn Evola, Cassandra Rae Mick, Giovanna Lee Walker, Christina Rene Cranston; his only son, Charles Ardene Blancett; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, niece, Kristina Ann Carlton, and nephew, Charles William Murphy.

Cleo will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Viewing at 9:00 am Friday, May 2, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church. Services to follow at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
