John Delonzo Harman, Sr. 90, of Yuba City, CA passed away November 16, 2012 at Yuba Skilled Nursing Center in Yuba City with his family by his side. Born March 21, 1922 in Halfway, Oregon, he was a resident of the Yuba Sutter area since 1946. John was the owner of Hub Distributing in Marysville.
Survivors include son, John D. Harman, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Dorothy R. Harman of Yuba City; grandson, Kirk A. Harman and his wife Noriko Harman; great- granddaughter, Kendall Harman of Aliso Viejo, CA; and grandson, Christopher J. Harman of Yuba City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet M. Harman.
John belonged to the Rotary Club of Marysville, the VFW 2563 Y.C., the Masonic Lodge Enterprise #70 and Ben Ali Shrine Club.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1945 in the South Pacific as an Aviation Machinist Mate 3C V-6.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sutter Cemetery with Pastor Jim Anderson officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
