Marcelo Rodriguez was born on July 24, 1946 in Colusa to Marciano and Emilia Rodriguez passed away on November 26th, 2013 at Travis AFB David Grant Hospital.

Marcelo served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War where he received two purple hearts. He worked many years for River Vista Farms in Colusa.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Rodriguez; children: Maria Godinez and Marcelo (Moose) Rodriguez; grandchildren: Andrea Godinez, Esteban Alvarez, Daniel Godoy & Mauricio Godoy; great granddaughters: Emilia Fernandez & Isabella Alvarez; brothers: Viviano, Richard, Guadalupe & Marciano; sisters: Alexandria (Honey), Irene, Soledad (Binkie) and Trinidad (Trini) and 100's of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Emily, Virginia (Virgie) and Margaret (Margie).

A Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, December 9, 2013, at VA National Cemetery in Dixon, CA, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Disabled Veterans or Fisher house at Travis AFB.
