Ralph Emory Womer, Jr. passed away December 10, 2013, at home with his wife and a friend by his side.

Ralph was born in Fountain Springs, PA, October 26, 1934 to Ralph and Mary Womer. Upon graduation from Mt. Carmel High School, Ralph enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served as a medical corpsman attached to the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War.

Ralph graduated from Yuba College, the Butte College Police Academy, as well as the University of California at Chico. He was a Yuba City Police Officer for 20 years and made many wonderful friends.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Roberta Womer; sisters, Patricia Womer and Barbara Womer; son, Stephen Womer (Heidi); daughters, Cynthia Duval, Christine Leonard (Bill) and Allison Moran; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Emory Womer, Sr.; mother Mary Bloom and stepmother, Mary Lou Berg.

A private, family service will be held at a later date.
