Robert A. Biggs, of Yuba City, born January 10, 1947, passed away on June 19, 2013, he was 66.

Bobby graduated from Yuba City High School in 1964. He also graduated from Yuba College with an Associate of Arts degree in accounting in 1974.

Bobby was in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 through 1969. He served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was the Veteran Service Officer for El Dorado County for 32 years.

He was the Commander of the American Legion Post 765, South Lake Tahoe, from 1982 to 1983. He served as Commander of District 31. He was a member of the Yuba City Moose Lodge 1204 for 30 years.

Bobby was very family oriented. He is survived by sister and brother-in-law Janie and Ron Hood of Yuba City, and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Maureen Biggs of Olivehurst.

He was best known as "Uncle Bobby". His nieces are Christine Hood, Alicia Caggiano, Meghan Matta, Alexandria Biggs and great niece Samantha Biggs. His nephews are Ron Hood, Joshua Biggs, and Branden Smith, and great nephew Ronnie Hood, "there's only one Ronnie".

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lorraine Biggs, and two brothers Eddie and Dale Biggs.

Graveside service will be in the Veteran section of Sutter Cemetery on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
