Sioux Falls, SD - Mary Margaret "Maggie" Dinsmore Thill, 41, died after a long and courageous battle with addiction, Friday, October 25, 2013, in Sioux Falls, SD.

A visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Monday, October 28, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Ave., with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a Wake service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at St. Mary Church.

Mary Margaret "Maggie" Dinsmore, the daughter of David and Barbara (Flynn) Dinsmore was born November 4, 1971 in Sioux Falls. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1990, and went on to attend the University of Minnesota for Psychology. Maggie then transferred to Arizona State University and then to the University of Sioux Falls, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

On May 5, 2001, Maggie was united in marriage with Stuart Thill in Sioux Falls, SD. They ran a doggie daycare in Ft. Collins, CO called The Rocky Mountain Dog Gym. The couple moved to Sioux Falls, and Maggie became a supervisor at The Children's Inn. She was then employed for Macy's and then Citibank, before going to work as a counselor at Volunteers of America.

Maggie was a devoted mother to her children. She also greatly enjoyed "mothering" her dogs.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, Vincent Thill and John Patrick "Jack" Dinsmore Thill, both of Sioux Falls; her father, David (Maruca) Dinsmore of Sioux Falls; a sister, Susan (Michael Burkard) Dinsmore of Sioux Falls; a brother, David (Toni) Cosmas of Phoenix, AZ; aunts, Judy Rost and Jeanne (Michael) MacLean, all of Sioux Falls and Diane (Dan) Duick of Scottsdale, AZ; an uncle, Leo Flynn of Sioux Falls; her beloved pug, Olive; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Flynn Dinsmore; aunt, Mary Bonaventura; aunt, Julie Dinsmore Keegan; uncle, Danny Dinsmore; cousin, David Duick; her maternal grandparents, Anna (Dunn) and Leo Flynn; and her paternal grandparents, Doris and Dawson J. Dinsmore.

The family has requested that memorials be directed to The Children's Inn.
