GRAVES, Clayton Winn Clayton Winn Graves, 86, passed away on June 15, 2014 in his home in Acworth, GA. He had been ill with cancer. He was born in Memphis, TN, graduated from the University of Florida, Nashotah House Seminary in Nashotah, WI and GA State University with a M.Ed. Mr. Graves was an Episcopal Priest, teacher, family counselor and donated his time as a teacher and lecturer to retirement centers throughout South FL when he retired in Miami Beach, FL. Mr. Graves also served in WWII in the U.S. Navy and after the war in Japan. His hobbies were oil painting, writing poetry, hiking and camping, fishing and sailing. As an avid reader and debater, he challenged his friends and associates to think, to meditate and listen to their inner voice. Clay is survived by his wife, Patricia D'Ann, son Vincent Alan Graves, and daughters Baerta Clare Graff and Mary Catherine Peyton, plus five grandchildren. A memorial service is being arranged in the Asheville, NC area on July 12, 2014.
