O'QUINN, Edwin Edwin Brantley (Edd) O'Quinn, age 90, of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2014 in Roswell, Georgia. Born on September 30, 1923 in Odum, Georgia, to William Brantley and Lucille Speir O'Quinn, Edd graduated from Wayne County High School and earned a B.S. from the University of Georgia and a Masters degree from Vanderbilt University. He taught mathematics and coached football and basketball at Thomasville High School in Thomasville, Georgia, and at Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia, before becoming a senior administrator for the Atlanta Public Schools. He was avid tennis player and a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs football team. He was married to Betty Brumbelow O'Quinn from 1957 until her death in 2004. He married Mary Elizabeth (Beth) O'Quinn in 2006. He is survived by Mary Elizabeth O'Quinn and Robert Patrick O'Quinn, his son from his first marriage. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, with a memorial beginning at 2:30 p.m. Northside Chapel at 12050 Crabapple Road in Roswell, Georgia
