Jason BANKS Obituary
BANKS, Jason Jason (Steak-Knife) Banks, age 31, of Atlanta died of cancer late Monday evening, March 3, 2014 at his home. Surviving are his wife, Christine Banks; his parents, Ronnie and Donna Banks of Hoschton; grandparents, James and Peggy Banks of McDonough, & Tom and Diane Beswick of Kissimmee, Florida; and a host of family and friends. SPC Banks served 3 years as an Infantryman in the United States Army serving in the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Benning and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Specialist, he received the Army Commendation with V-Device for Valor, the Army Achievement Medal 2nd Award, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. Jason was very talented at welding and enjoyed working with metal. He was currently employed at GE Energy doing what he loved. Jason also enjoyed sailing, motorcycles, and was a member of the FBBC. He was awesome and will remain a legend amongst friends. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 4 o'clock at H. M. Patterson & Son - Spring Hill. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the memorial. Online condolences may be made at hmpattersonspringhill.com.
