Family-Placed Death Notice

MULLIN, Scott J. Scott J. Mullin, 41, of Doraville, Ga, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013. Scott was born in Mt. Holly, NJ, son of the late Joseph B. Mullin and Linnea H. Mullin. Prior to moving to the Atlanta area, he attended the University of Florida where he studied Mechanical Engineering and was active in the Sigma Pi Fraternity. Scott later began a career as a Systems Engineer, a job he enjoyed greatly, and fathered two beloved children. He was an avid tinkerer and liked to work on cars in his spare time. He is survived by his son Hayden and daughter Amelia, his brother Gregory Mullin, his half-sisters Debra DeFrancesco, Jamie Foy, Laura (Bob) Cerminara, Lissa (George) Pennell, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2:00pm at Simpsonwood United Methodist Church - Family Life Center, Peachtree Corners. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Focus on the Family (www.focusonthefamily.com). Scott was beloved by many among his family, friends, neighbors, and church community. He will be missed deeply by all who cared for him. "This day thou shalt be with Me in Paradise." Luke 23:43.
