Family-Placed Death Notice

MILLMAN, Stanley Dr. Stanley Leonard Millman, 71, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2. Born in Bronx, New York, to the late Dorothy and Nathan Millman, Stan graduated from the University of Michigan and the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After serving as a Captain in the US Army, he practiced psychiatry in Atlanta for 40 years, making a difference in the lives of many individuals and families. Stan is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cherri Ries; his daughter, Ruth Anna Millman (Ellen O'Neal); his son, Daniel; his step-son, Dr. Daniel Ries (Heidi); his step-daughters, Heather Luepker (Carl) and Allecyn Ries (Tony Mendoza); his grandchildren: Samantha, Jennifer, Liam, Molly and Lucia; his brother, Barry; and his sister, Lonni.
