CREAGAN, Thomas Cosgrove Thomas Cosgrove Creagan, 90, of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on March 1, 2013. He was a native of Boonville, MO. He earned degrees from Tulane University in Chemical Engineering (BS) and in Business Administration (MBA). He served his country as a weapons officer in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Tulagi in the Pacific during World War II. Years later, he retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Commander. In addition, he retired from AT&T after over 30 years of service. He was always very active in his church. He served on the parish council at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Birmingham, AL and later at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain, GA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Harriette Creagan Trautman, and by his brother, Rev. Daniel Alexander Creagan, S. J. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Anne Hebert Creagan, his children Carey and her husband Kenneth Stickney, Christopher Creagan and his wife Helen, Jennifer and her husband Phillip Carver, Judith and her husband George Walton, Marian and her husband Walter Egenmaier, Marguerite and her husband John Howard and Cynthia Nevetral. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren: Michelle Egenmaier, Laura Stickney Owen, Creagan Stickney, Paul Egenmaier, Joseph Walton, Robin Nevetral, Erin Stickney, Kathrine Walton, Rebecca Nevetral, Theresa Stickney, Rachel Creagan, Gregory Nevetral and Andrew Creagan. He was also blessed to receive excellent care from many doctors, nurses and other caregivers for which he was and his family is very grateful ñ especially to Carol and Keeta. A memorial Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Stone Mountain, GA at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
