Dr. Marquis was a wonderful professor of mine at Emory Law School. My name is Rosemary Lawlor Genberg (Class of 1977).
I just learned of his passing and wanted to give my deepest condolences.
Dr. Marquis reached out to me in my third year to help him on a research assignment. I was honored to help him, and flattered that he trusted my research skills.
As my Antitrust professor, he taught with a clarity and depth of knowledge that made a difficult subject easy to understand.
Most of all, he was a warm, kind, and terrific person. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
