Robert P. Marks
10/11/1937 - 5/30/2013

On May 30, 2013 after a long illness, Bob went to the "Big Rodeo in the Sky".
He leaves behind his beloved and best friend of seventeen years, Marcia LeDoux, step-daughter, Robin Stuhr (husband Jim), step-son, Jay Hornbuckle (wife Colleen), step-grandchildren: Bryce, Tanner, Teagan and Parker, and his sister, Myrna Wilhelm (husband Owen). He was preceded in death by his parents Chet Marks and Jennie Asplund and brother Chuck Marks.
Bob was born October 11, 1937 in Albany, California. He went to Carmichael Schools and, while attending El Camino High School, proudly enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. As an adult, he obtained his pilot's license. Growing up he was always around music and horses. He played guitar and sang. He loved to compete in rodeos, especially bull riding. He won the state champion calf roping at the age of 13. He belonged to the Freemasons of Roseville, Ben-Ali Shrine, Sunrise Golf Club, a volunteer for many years at the Sacramento Jazz Festival, and was the first president of the Granite Bay Lions Club. Bob loved to fish, hunt, golf, travel, and attend the many activities of the family.
At his request no service is planned at this time.
