NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Memorial services for Mr. Donald E. Doman, 66, who entered into rest October 10, 2013, will be conducted this Saturday at 4 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Ellis Moore officiating. Interment will be private. Mr. Doman was a native of Augusta, a former resident of New York, having made North Augusta his home for the past 10 years. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Verizon with 30 years of service. Mr. Doman was a loving husband who greatly enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. He was a giving and caring individual who never met a stranger and always had an infectious laugh and smile. Mr. Doman enjoyed listening to music and watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald V. Doman. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Myrna Lynn Doman; his mother, Erika Doman, Augusta, GA; two brothers, Daryl Doman (Terri), Trenton, SC and Michael Doman (Carol), North Augusta, SC; a sister-in-law, Gail Lynn Troutman; three nephews, Eric Doman (Aarron), Justin Doman, and Ryan Rockwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
