WILLISTON, S.C. - Funeral services for Eugene Edward Bolen, 87, of Williston, SC, will be held eleven a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Williston with the Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Friday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Donations may be made to Edisto Baptist Church, 12838 Main St., Williston, SC 29853. Mr. Eugene passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Born in Barnwell County, SC, he was a son of the late Denzel L. and Norma Porter Bolen. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston and attended Edisto Baptist Church. He was a self-employed business man having owned and managed Bolen's Red & White with his two brothers for many years and was a real estate investor. He was a US Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Frances Fulmer Bolen; daughter, Marisa Schumpert and son-in-law, Jay; son, Gene Bolen and daughter-in-law, Kerri; brother, Myron Bolen and sister-in-law, Katie; grandchildren, Bryane Washburn and husband, George, LaNita Bolen, Jarrett Schumpert, Cullen Bolen and wife, Kristen; great grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriel Washburn, Christian and Lansley Macgargle; nieces Denise Elkins, Dana Byrd and Deborah Bolen-Cook.
