LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Jay Kenton Woodall, of Forest Lake Dr., entered into rest on January 9th at Doctor's Hospital, Augusta. He had just celebrated his 46th birthday on the 3rd of January. Mr. Woodall, a native of Tampa, Fl., and graduated from Ludowici High School. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force and had been employed by Jimtex in Lincolnton for the past 10 years and was currently serving as maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Five Shot Hunting Club and American Legion #194. His father, William L. Woodall, had passed away just five weeks ago. Family: Mother: Christine W. Martin, Murfreesboro, TN; Step Mother: Anne Woodall, Lincolnton; Daughter: Kassie Jae Woodall, Lincolnton; Son: Aaron Crump, Lincolnton; Brother: Scott Woodall, Lincolnton; Sisters: Kim Beal Woodall, Murfreesboro, Jan Arrington, Pembroke, Ga., Beth Parker, Ludowici; Grandchildren: Luke Crump, Gracie Crump, and Colton Crump; Uncle: David Woodall and wife, Sandra; Nieces and Nephews: Kyle Woodall, Hoyt Woodall, Aubree Beal, Shelby Beal, Thomas Beal, Blake Beal, and Jaxson Beal. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 3 p.m. at American Legion #194. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.
