MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Robert "Bob" Perchinski, 85, of Martinez, Georgia passed away Friday, October 18, 2013. He was a lifetime member of the DAV, South Carolina State Employee Association and former VP of Greater Augusta Stamp Club. He was actively involved in Boy Scouts, Little League and as a volunteer fireman in his younger days. Mr. Perchinski retired from the United States Army after over 20 years of dedicated service, during which time he received the Vietnam Service Medal with 4 bronze service stars. Mr. Perchinski is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Perchinski; two sons, Bernie and Mike (and wife, Jeri) Perchinski; two granddaughters, Kendall and Kalle Perchinski; two brothers, Eugene (and wife, Frances) and Raymond (and wife, Clara) Perchinski; two sisters, Marie (and husband, Ed) Welteroth and Betty Moyer; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM, Thursday evening at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road Chapel. Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Friday, October 25, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
