Eugene Woo Jr.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Eugene Woo, Jr., beloved husband of Mrs. Lynne C. Woo, entered into rest on October 23, 2013 at Doctor's Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Augusta with the Rev. Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Woo was born and raised in Augusta. He graduated from The Academy of Richmond County, then went on to attend the Citadel before graduating from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, and was the co-owner of Gwinnett Pharmacy for 30 years. In addition to his wife Lynne, Mr. Woo is survived by his sons, Dr. Kent E. Woo (Danielle) of Savannah, Dr. Nelson G. Woo (Michelle) of Marietta, Keith F. Woo of Augusta and Eugene Woo III of Marietta, a brother, James E. Woo (Bess), three sisters, Evelyn W. Loo (the late Charles W.C.), Ellen W. Dong (Yick) and Emily W. Takeuchi (Roy), and a grandchild, Joshua Eugene Woo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Dr. Jolayne Woo Hirano. Pallbearers will be Dr. Grant Loo, Craig Dong, Dr. Brad Loo, Brian Woo, Gary Tom, Darren Woo, Dr. Doug Lee and Doug Cheung.
