Robert Lawrence Andree July 23, 1939 - November 3, 2012 Bob lived a full life and and always knew how to have a good time... he was a legend among his many friends for that very reason. He graduated from North High in Oildale in 1957, and he and Bobbie Elkins married that same year. They had three children. Bob joined the military a short time later and served proudly in the U.S. Air Force. In the late 60s, Bob moved to Alaska where he loved fishing the Kenai River. Bob and Katie married in 1986 and he retired from ARCO in the early 90s. He and Katie enjoyed traveling in their retirement years and always had lots of friends to spend great times with no matter where their travels took them. Bob was preceded in death by his son Keith, his brother Ralph and his parents. Survivors include his wife Katie and stepson Larry Henley, his son Kevin Andree and his daughter Kelly Andree. He also leaves grandkids Nickey and Kyle Andree, Brittany Jackson and her husband Brennan, Cori McCloud, and Jerrell Henley. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Elks Club in Soldotna, Alaska. www.bakersfield.com/obits
