Rojelio Ramon "Roger" September 30, 1961 - April 13, 2013 Roger was born to Carmen H. Ramon and Pedro Ramon in San Angelo, TX. He passed away in Bakersfield, CA. He is survived by his three children, Steven, Melissa, and Michele Ramon; his twin brother (they were known as "Los Cuates"); his two older brothers; and his three sisters. Roger honorably served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. from 1978 - 1983 as an Engine Mechanic for the Huey Cobra Attack Helicopter. He chose to separate from the Corp that he was so proud to be a part of to spend more time with his family. He could still recite all 11 general orders. He pursued and achieved his A.A. Degree in Accounting. Roy enjoyed reading the word of God, he quoted verses by heart, fishing, wood work, auto mechanics, and grilling. He was a Jack of all Trades. He was very detail oriented and articulate, although his greatest gift was not one that could be learned. He was generous with his time, money and most of all, his love. He was never judgmental of anyone. He will be missed by all. A Wake Service for Roger will be held at the Bakersfield Apostolic Church (519 Mt. Vernon Avenue) on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Bakersfield Apostolic Church on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. His military burial will follow at the Bakersfield National Cemetery.
