Rose Marie Wiggs November 20, 1943 - September 18, 2013 Our loving mother Rose Wiggs succumbed to her illness that she bravely fought for years on September 18, 2013 with her family and dear friends by her side. Rose Marie Wiggs was born on November 20, 1943 to John and Dorothy Lemucchi. The baby sister of Margurite Parham and John (Barney) Lemucchi. She grew up in a close knit Italian family and learned the importance of family, friends and food. Which she passed to her own children. Rose was a stay at home "Mom" until the death of her husband Charles. She went to work at Hort School as a noon-aid with her dear friend Marilyn Mitchell. They both accepted positions in the Foothill High School cafeteria where they would worked together for many years. While working there, Mom made many lifelong friends and was loved by many students who also called her Mom. She was the best mom us kids could ask for...she was the "Mom" who always had the Country Squire Ford Station Wagon full of kids who needed rides to sporting events, school, or just needed rescuing! Rescuer was one of the many hats she wore...Blue Bird/Girl Scout Leader, Wrestling Mom, Special Olympics Mom, Baseball/Softball Mom...just to name a few. She was right beside her kids in everything they did! As busy as she was chasing kids and living life she always had the cleanest house on the block and with never a hair out of place... thanks to her friend and hairdresser Terri Gomez. When her grandchildren came there was never a more proud Grandma. She spoiled them with love and affection. Rose was eagerly looking forward to the arrival of her first great grandchild and namesake Lily Rosemarie Padilla who is soon to be born any day now. Uncle Barney (John) and Aunt Norma- there are no words to express how thankful we are for the love and support that you gave us and Mom over all these years and especially these last several weeks preceding her passing...We will be Forever Grateful. A special thank you to Joyce (Bunch) Cason who has been our Moms lifelong friend and confidant. Their friendship began at 9 years old and continued for 60 years. They were there for each other through school, marriages, and having kids and growing old. We will be forever thankful for the friendship and the love you gave to our Mom for all those years. Love you Joyce! Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Wiggs and her parents John and Dorothy Lemucchi. Rose leaves behind her three children, daughters Cammie Wiggs, Kim Mayberry and husband Danny, and son Michael Wiggs; her granddaughter Mallory (Mayberry) Padilla and husband Jamie; grandson Danny Mayberry Jr. and girlfriend Kristy Solorzano; sister Margurite Parham and husband Myles; brother John Lemucchi and wife Norma; brother-in-law Rudy Wiggs and wife LaVonne; many special nieces, nephews and countless neighborhood kids who fondly referred to her as "Mom" The family would like to thank all the friends who came to sit at the hospital to give support to our beloved mother. And to Dr. Ashraf-Alim and staff who gave not only wonderful medical care but was a support system for our family. Pallbearers: Danny Mayberry, Danny Mayberry Jr., Johnny Lemucchi, Martin Santillana, Brian Carr and Barry Moss.
