John R. Klipper Notice

On May 7, 2014, John R. Klipper. Mr. Klipper was a Mailman for 20 years who served in the Navy and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for 93 years, who served as an usher, enjoyed Father Burkes and the Summertime Crab Feast every year. He played many rounds of golf at Clifton Park and Mount Pleasant, usually on the winning team. John was an avid O's fan and predicted they will win the pennant in 2014. He enjoyed going to the Preakness at Pimlico Racecourse festivities as he attended as a Handicapper. He had a great sense of humor, was a private person and a humble appreciated soul. His deeds in helping the less fortunate were endless, never wanting notoriety. He had a huge heart and mutual respect for anyone he met or befriended. He never gossiped or talked about anyone. Special thanks to Rabbi Panitz and the spiritual understanding of Gilchrist Hospice care and Miss Dolores William and all special caregivers who cared for the Klipper family. Survived by his platonic best friend and wife, Mrs. Donna McBride-Klipper. It was truly a pleasure taking care of his brother Charles and sister Dorothy. They were truly special people. People should strive to be more like them. John will be truly missed. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26) on Monday 2-6 PM, where a Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 3:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 10 AM.
