Ethel Mae Anglin, age 90, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:10 pm, Friday, March 28 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1923 in Colby, Kansas to George W. and Mary (Robinett) Gould. On September 12, 1945, she married Olen Anglin in Nappanee. He preceded in death March 10, 2009 Mrs. Anglin was a 1941 graduate of Nappanee High School. She then attended University of Indianapolis for 2 years and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Finley, OH. Mrs. Anglin was a lifetime area resident until moving to Florida in 2007. She had taught week day Religion education for 14 years at Nappanee Elementary. For 9 years she was a Fuller Brush salesperson. Ethel Mae was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church and a former member of Mt. Tabor Church of God. Mrs. Anglin is survived by a son, Lanny (Kathy) Anglin, Columbus, OH; a daughter, Judy (Robert) Douglas, Sarasota, FL; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brothers, Paul (Judy) Gould, Granger, Glen Gould, Clinton Township, MI. She was preceded in death by brothers, Everett, Joseph, and Robert "Bob" Gould. Family and friends may call from 3-5 and 6-8, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and for 1 hour before the 10:00 am Funeral Service at Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Nappanee Missionary Church or the Week Day Bible Class.
