Theodore "Tj/Ted" Lambert

Delton

 Theodore "Tj/Ted" Lambert, 50, of Delton, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home. He was born August 1, 1963 in Bay City, MI the son of Maurice K. (Judy) and Sandra S. (Fremire) Lambert. He married Theresa Patterer on May 31, 2003 in Battle Creek. Tj served in the US Army as a mechanic for 4 years and then as a civilian for 8 years. He was involved in the Berlin Brigade and was present when the wall came down. He worked for several companies as a graphic artist and IT manager. Tj loved to ride motorcycles and listen to rock-n-roll. He volunteered for many organizations including Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue and Honor Flight, which brought veterans to the Vietnam War Memorial. Tj was always there when you needed him, no matter the circumstance or situation. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter, Ahna.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Theresa; father, Maurice; mother, Judy Lambert; children, Joseph Alton, Christopher Alton, and Thomas Alton; granddaughters, Ahna Lambert and Adele Noel; brothers and sisters, Cathy (Dennis) Duncan, Jeff (Deb) Hayes, Jeffrey Lambert, Pennie Richardson, Cindie (Matt) Wright, and Mary Lambert; nieces and nephews, Ryan Richardson, Jessica Lambert, Christina (Justin) England, Trisha Richardson, Robin Lambert, Kali Hayes, Rachel Hayes, Savannah Lambert, Gary Wright, Trey Harvath, and Chad Hayes; mother-in-law, Rebecca Deloof; and his best friends from childhood, Richard Canales and Thomas Vandermel.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Lambert.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 12:30 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with Chaplain Beverly Kelley officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue.
