Curtis E. Cooper, 72

Curtis E. Cooper, 72, of Mountain Home passed Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at his residence.

Curtis was born November 17, 1941, in Weaubleau, Missouri to the late Leslie Cooper and Wanda (McCracken) Cooper. He served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Curtis also served in Desert Storm as a member of the 224th Maintenance Company of the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cooper; his parents; a son, Doug Cooper; a grandson, Brandon Luckey and a great grandson, Austin Combs.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry Beyen of Mountain Home and Lesa Luckey of Mountain Grove, Missouri; a son, Andy Cooper of Norfork; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Howard's Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Air Force will be to follow under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
