Harold D. Harmon, 77
Mr. Harold Dean Harmon, age 77 of Mountain Home passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1936 in Quinton, Oklahoma to Alfred and Wilma Watson Harmon. He married Linda Jean Hall in Russellville, AR in 1983.
Mr. Harmon was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from Lockheed Corp. where he spent years as an airplane mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Harmon of Mountain Home; 2 sons: Gary Harmon of Louisiana and David (Rhonda) Matchett of North Little Rock, AR; 3 daughters: Janice (Clint) Jaco of Long Beach, CA, Lisa Harmon of Atlanta, GA and Vickie Johnson of Springfield, OR; 7 grandchildren: David Matchett, Matthew (Megan) Matchett, John David (Pamela) McLawhorn, Billy D. Stair III, Jennifer Rubach Joshua (Kelly) Rubach, Misty Johnson; 8 great grandchildren: Tyler, Madelynn & Ryan Matchett, Marie, Sean & Elaina McLawhorn, Tiona Johnson; 2 brothers: Michael Lawrence and Gary Cowart
both of Mountain Home.
Visitation will be held 12-9 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 7 until 9 PM. A funeral service, conducted by Reverend Estel Grigg will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Peace. Military Honors by American Legion Post #52.
