William "Bill" O. Aldridge, Jr., 85

William "Bill" O. Aldridge, Jr., age 85, of Mountain Home, was called home Sunday, January 6, 2013. Bill was a longtime resident of Boone County, Arkansas, and current resident of Mountain Home since 2008. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was an avid supporter of the Ronald McDonald House pop tabs for kids program. He was known as a collector, inventor and poet. He was a kind Southern gentleman that didn't meet a stranger. He knew how to make anyone smile.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Mae Aldridge, 2 children, William O. Aldridge III and Patricia Koch, a son in law, Karl M. Koch, 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Camille Aldridge, Aimee Aldridge, and his children Mark Allen Aldridge and Martha Irene Aldridge.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 5:30 P.M. at the Word of Life Church in Mountain Home. Pastor Greg Ford will officiate the service. Arrangements are under the direction Roller Funeral Home. Visit an online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
