James Henry Cook, 81, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on April 22, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Mary Brubaker Cook and James N. Cook, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont area. James was a United States Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a retired sales manager for Forest Lawn Memorial Park and was a member of the Masons. Survivors include his children, Cindy Wolfe and her husband, Chris, of Lumberton; Jim Cook and his wife, Debbie, of Manvel; and Nancy Lewen of Rhode Island; grandchildren, Michelle Foxworth and her husband, Joel; Chris Wolfe and his wife, Alisha; Brian Wolfe and his fiancée, Brandi Fourt; Kim Beers and her husband, Sean; Jennifer Crawford and her husband, Scott; and Joe Finnegan; and great-grandchildren, Bethany, Kyla, Ikey, Noah, and Aaron. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife of fifty-seven years, Elizabeth Betsy Jane Zimmerman Cook. A gathering of Mr. Cook's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Interment will be held at a later date under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
