Jerry Earl Coleson 12/9/1942 -02/10/2014 Jerry Earl Coleson, Born in Beaumont, Texas, Jerry went to Ogdon Elementary, McArthur Jr. High and South Park High School, playing baseball, hunting and fishing. After graduating in 1961, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Reserves, married Gaylor Smith and worked at The National Cash Register Co., on cash registers and computers. He then worked for Recognition Equipment Inc., in Irving, Texas and Banc Tech, on machines that read print and paper money. He traveled extensively in his job and retired in 2002. Loving to hunt, he spent many hours in the woods hunting squirrels and deer with bow and arrow and guns. Jerry leaves behind a wife, Gaylor Coleson, a sister, Jean Dyess and her husband, Gene of Vidor, Texas, and their children, Greg Dyess and his wife, Joanna and their children, Emily and Jennifer of Houston, Texas; Glen Dyess and his wife, Lori and their children, Stephani and Edward of Vidor, Texas; and Buffy Wilkinson and her husband, James of Lewisville, Texas. Jerry and Gaylor have a son, Jay Coleson and his wife, Terri, granddaughter, Chelsea Kirkley and grandson, Joshua of Carrollton; daughter, Paige and her husband, William and granddaughter, Ellen of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas.
