Graveside services for M.G. Bartlett, Jr., 83, of Beaumont, will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. M.G. was born April 9, 1929, in San Antonio, TX and passed away July 26, 2012, at Beaumont Health Care Center. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Beaumont Amateur Radio Club with call letters of W5UHZ and looked forward everyday to talking to his "ham buddies". He was also a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont. He retired from Welex, a division of Halliburton, after 30 years of service. Mr. Bartlett is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Bartlett; son, John Grady Bartlett; grandchildren, Rebecca and Garrett Bartlett; and daughter-in-law, Regina Bartlett, whom he truly loved as a daughter.
