Max Reeves Latham Funeral services for Max Reeves Latham, 75, of Lumberton will be 10:00 am Monday, June 18, 2012 at Woodcrest Methodist Church in Lumberton with interment following in Broaddus Cemetery at 3:00 pm under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Latham died June 15, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Max was a native of Longview and had lived in Lumberton for the past thirty two years. He was an active member of Woodcrest Methodist Church. He served on the board of the Lumberton Municipal Utility District for 12 years and also the Lumberton Fire District. He was retired from the US Air Force where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Joan Latham of Lumberton; daughters Heather DeHart of Lumberton and Dena Wyatt of Beaumont; sons Richard Latham and James Duncan both of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Chris York of Beaumont and Dan Brinson of Lumberton; sister Mary Dickerson of Orange and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother Charles Latham.
