Dinsmore Bobby Robert Malcom Dinsmore Bobby was called home on January 25, 2014. He lost his battle with several illnesses that he faced with admirable courage and determination. He was born July 3, 1946 to James F. Dinsmore & Juanita Blackburn in Portland, Maine. Bob died in his home of Lakeway, Texas; although, he formally resided in Port Arthur and Beaumont, Texas. He attended Lamar University, served his country in the United States Navy, and achieved many accomplishments in life and business. He will be remembered for his love of golf and his devotion to the Texas Longhorns. He is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Juanita and George Blackburn. He is survived by his father and stepmother James and Donna Dinsmore, his brother and wife James and Brenda Dinsmore, his sister Dorothy Brown and brother-in-law Argyle Fairley, his sons Eric Dinsmore and wife Heather Dinsmore, Toby Strothers and wife Regina Strothers. Bob is also survived by many extended family members including Sandy Dinsmore. His family wants to thank the many physicians who treated Bob throughout his last years of medical difficulties; all of whom embraced him and did the best of their abilities. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 1-3pm in the Sunset Room at the Lakeway Resort and Spa located at the 101 Lakeway Drive, Lakeway, TX 78734.
