Daniel Seiber

Daniel T. Seiber, 92, of Belleville, Ill., born Friday, November 11, 1921, in Lewisburg, Ky., died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Red Bud Nursing Home, Red Bud, Ill.

Daniel worked as a Mechanic for General Motors Company, St. Louis, Mo., for 31 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1255 and former member of Anglers Club of Belleville. He was a United States World War II Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Julia, nee Ernest, Seiber; and his parents, Guy and Carrie, nee Hildabrand, Seiber.

Surviving are his children, Sandra (Herb) Bridges of Texas, Janice Seiber of Belleville, Ill., David (Kim) Seiber of Belleville, Ill., Donald (Tami) Seiber of Red Bud, Ill., and Trish (Matt) Fournie of Fairview Heights, Ill.; grandchildren, Kristi (Mike) Kalas, Tracy (Andy) Dyson, Scott (Stefanie) Bridges, Ashley (Jason) Maue, Jennifer (Mark) Reams, Stephanie (Marty) Seitz, Joe Seiber, Alison Fournie, and Sarah Fournie; great-grandchildren, Hannah Kalas, Samantha Kalas, Connor Dyson, Paige Dyson, Jenna Dyson, Kadence Seitz, Khloe Seitz, and Tori Reams; and many extended family members from the Marissa, Ill., area.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 11, 2014, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Pastor John Temple officiating. Interment will follow in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.
