Darrel Ray Hough, 61, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and formerly of Belleville, Ill., passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014.
Darrel was born at the Norfolk Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Va., to his loving parents, the late Emerson "Jake" and Judith, nee Mueller, Hough of Belleville, Ill.
He married the love of his life and best friend, Sylvia R. Hough, nee Hove, on Aug. 25, 2001, in Estes Park, Colo.
Mr. Hough proudly served his country twice for a total of 32 years in the U.S. Air Force from May 1974 to May 1980 and then again from August 1982 to August 2008 as a full time technician with the Wyoming Air National Guard. He worked in various aircraft electronics fields, and participated in a variety of deployments around the world. Darrel spent 13 years at CFD as a ticket committee volunteer.
Surviving are his wonderful wife, Sylvia R. Hough; fantastic son, Bryce Aaron Hough of Millville, N.J.; his sister, Molla (Joe) Cook and nieces, Kati Cook and Jennalee Cook all of Belleville; Sylvia's sons, Peter and Zach McLeod, brother, Manfred Hove and parents Pete and Monika Hove all of Cathedral City, Calif.
Darrel requested in lieu of flowers please remember the following organizations;

Fund. As one of his favorite sayings he loved to shout after the National Anthem at both baseball and hockey games "PLAY BALL!"
Funeral: A memorial service for Mr. Hough will be held Monday, March 24, 2014, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Aaron "Stoney" Smith of Temple, Texas officiating.
