Delores Guebert

Delores F. Guebert, 81, of Red Bud, Ill., born July 10, 1932, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at Red Bud Regional Care in Red Bud, Ill.

Mrs. Guebert was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Ill., the Evening Guild and the VFW Auxiliary in Red Bud.

She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell "Gabby" Guebert; two daughters-in-law, Sherry Guebert and Jeanne Guebert; parents, John and Adeline, nee Feldhaus, Huetsch; sister, Dorothy (Clem) Karban; brothers, Ardell Huetsch, Herbert Huetsch, Norman Huetsch and Herman Huetsch; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Clara Guebert; and sister-in-law, Maydell Huetsch.

Surviving are her husband, Leroy Guebert, whom she married on Nov. 18, 1950, in Red Bud, Ill.; three children, Kenny (Donna) Guebert of Red Bud, Ill., Brenda Stout (friend, Ross Nagel) of Red Bud, Ill., and Jyneane (Brian) Stellhorn of Red Bud, Ill.; three siblings, Mary Ann (Ervin) Rensing of Red Bud, Ill., Helen (Gene) Hon of Puxico, Mo., and John Huetsch of Waterloo, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Carol Huetsch Milligan of Red Bud, Ill., and Gladys (Roger) Brand of Red Bud, Ill.; five grandchildren, Clinton Guebert, Jodi Stout, Danielle (Patrick) McCarthy, Kacy Guebert and Nicole (Brad) Geller; five great-grandchildren, Sela McCarthy, Callum McCarthy, Savanna Guebert, Kaylin Jany and Shane Hobeck; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Ill., and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Ill., with Rev. Mark Nebel and Rev. Russell Koen officiating. Interment will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
