Dorothy E. Wangelin, nee Saul, 90, of Belleville, Ill., born Aug. 28, 1922, in Ellis Grove, Ill., died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, Ill.
Dorothy had worked as a sales clerk at Lerner's Department Store, Belleville, Ill. She was a member of the Belleville-Swansea Women of the Moose and the Midwestern U.S. Imperial Dance Club.
Ms. Wangelin was preceded in death by her parents, William O. and Alma, nee Molly, Saul; a brother, Melvin Saul; and a sister in law, Shirley Saul.
Surviving are her son, Gary (Judy) Wangelin of Swansea, Ill.; two grandchildren, Richard (Robin) Wangelin of Belleville, Ill., and Robert (Aimee) Wangelin of Waterloo, Ill.; four great-grandchildren, Haley, Ashley, Andrew and Vivien Wangelin; and a brother, William (Loretta) Saul of Caseyville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Deacon Gerry Bach officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Fairview Heights, Ill.
