James Klucker

James B. Klucker, 85, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born March 25, 1929, in Shiloh, Ill., passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Klucker was in the United States Army and a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver, and retired from the Teamsters local 600. He attended Shiloh United Methodist Church, and was a member of American Legion in Fairview Heights, Ill., and the Sportsman Club in O'Fallon, Ill.

James was preceded in death by wife, Mildred "Mim" Klucker, nee Dougherty; parents, Ernest and Mary Klucker, nee Williams; grandson, Jacob Weeks; and 12 siblings, Charles Klucker, Gilbert Klucker, Estella Klein, Clarence Klucker, Isabella Lotz, Luella Bomarito, Mary Jane Wright, Harold "Boots" Klucker, Richard Klucker, Warren Klucker, Iva Kaemmerer, and Delbert Klucker.

Surviving are his four children, Craig and Norma Cantwell of New Baden, Ill., Terri Hoef of Fairview Heights, Ill., Randy Klucker of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Sandy and Curt Obst of Belleville, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, Jill and Jason Foley of Caseyville, Ill., Craig Cantwell Jr., of Fairview Heights, Ill., Megan and Zeb Mueth of Fairview Heights, Ill., Jenny Cantwell of Fairview Heights, Ill., Sarah Cantwell of O'Fallon, Ill., Christy and Jeremy Garrett of Moore, Okla., Brent and Brian Lallish of New Baden, Ill., Kyle Hoef of Florida, Madison Hoef of Fairview Heights, Ill., Chad Klucker of Fairview Heights, Ill., Ross and Robin Klucker of Belleville, Ill., Adam and Wyatt Weeks of Belleville, Ill., and Curtis Obst of California; and 10 great-grandchildren, Hunter Baron, Connor and Kylie Foley, Caleb and DecLan Cantwell, Liam and Brody Mueth, Tyler Schaefer, and Blake and Jaxon Garrett.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, Ill.



Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at the funeral home, with Rev. Dwane Menke officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
