Jerald T. Rogers, 61, of Belleville, Ill., born Aug. 4, 1952, in St. Louis, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Rogers worked for the Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Company. He was an avid collector of sports and racing memorabilia. Jerald was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by a his parents, Jack Lee and Betty Ann, nee Noble, Rogers; an infant brother, Jonathon David Rogers; and a great-niece, Kendra Marie Brough.
Surviving are four brothers, Jack (Judy) Rogers of New Athens, Ill., Jim Rogers of Grandtower, Ill., Jeff (Martha) Rogers of Collinsville, Ill., and Joe (Sherry) Rogers of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Betty Jean (Daniel) Chapman of Farmington, Mo., Mary Ann (Jim) Brothers of Troy, Ill., Susan (Norman) Brough of Smithton, Ill., and Rebecca Rogers of Belleville, Ill.; and his friends in the One Hundred Mile an Hour Club.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Rev. Gary Huffman officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
