Rose A. Johns, nee Waeltz, 58, of Mascoutah, Ill., born July 22, 1954, in San Diego, Calif., died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rose was a sales representative for Kraft Foods at Scott AFB Commissary. She was a former member of the Eagles in Shiloh and a former member of Women of the Moose in O'Fallon, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Wetzel; and her grandmother, Irene "Nana" Compton.
Surviving are her husband, Donald M. Johns, whom she married in St. Louis, Mo., on April 15, 2000; her mother, Ilene, nee Kitchen, Wetzel of Shiloh, Ill.; five children, Kenneth, Jason, Amanda, Jocelyn, and Dewey; six granddaughters; five grandsons; and a great-grandson, all whom she dearly loved; a sister, Tammie Faitz and two other sisters.
