Willa Dean "Deana" Wicker, nee Winstead, 79, of Cahokia, Ill., born Sept. 22, 1934, in Manilla, Ark., died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Wicker was a member of Jerome Lane Baptist Church in Cahokia, Ill., and past Sunsay school teacher at the church. She was a member of W.M.U.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Alta, nee Cornelison, Winstead; and two brothers, Jimmy and Ted Winstead.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Henry V. Wicker; children, Linda (Greg) Barrett of Springfield, Ill., and David (Linda Green) Wicker of Cahokia, Ill.; two brothers, Louie (Ginny) Winstead of Villa Rica, Ga., and Ronnie (Ina Mae) Winstead of Jackson, Mo.; two sisters, Phyllis (Bob) Ray of Franklin, Tenn., and Rosemary (Gary) Beacham of Puxico, Mo.; six grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Jon and Haley Wicker, Caitlin and Jake Barrett; and a great-granddaughter, Paetyn Lewis. She was a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at the funeral home with Dr. Louie Winstead and Dr. Ronnie Winstead officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
