Donald J. Davison, age 85, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Don was a WW II Navy veteran, retired fisherman and avid self-taught wood carver. His carvings won many awards in various Fairs throughout Washington State. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, motorcycle riding, watching Nascar, RVing and being on a pit crew for mini-sprint cars at Deming Speedway. Don was preceded in death by his father Russell Davison and mother Lillian Davison. On February18, 1958 Don married his loving wife, Mardelle. Don is survived by his wife, Mardelle of 55 years; daughter Sherry Young, son Brad Davison (Suzanne), son Lynn Davison (Sue) and daughter Lori Davison (Jon); 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Richard Bullene (Betty); cousin Gary Nelson (Patti); cousin Stan Nelson (Diane); cousin Leslie Nelson (Ann); family friend Scott Read. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Please join Don's family for an open house celebration of his life on October 18th from 2:00 - 5:00 at the Lakeway Mobile Estates Clubhouse at 1200 Lincoln Street.
