Jean Louise Bell of Orlando, FL passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Quality Health Care of Winter Garden. She was 87, born January 30, 1926, to Edith (Lewke) and Henry G. Plack in Peoria, IL. Her husband, Earle H. Bell, predeceases Jean. They were married in Peoria, IL on June 4, 1950. In their 55 years of marriage they have resided in Denver, CO; Salina, KS; Peoria, IL; Melbourne, Australia; Vancouver, BC and Bellingham, WA (Sudden Valley.) Jean is lovingly remembered by her sons Jeff (Ignez) Bell of Fairfield, CA, and Greg (Marcie) Bell of Orlando, FL and 4 grandchildren, Andrea and Theresa and Corbin and Erin. After completing her Bachelors Degree at Northwestern University where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta then starting her Masters Studies at University of Illinois where she met Earle. Jean loved playing bridge, cooking, entertaining, tennis, reading and collecting antiques. Jean and Earle lead a full life traveling around the world and touched so many lives from Australia to the US and Canada. There will be a private service in the spring at the Sarasota Military Cemetery, Sarasota, FL for both Jean and Earle.
