Michael, "Dad", "Papa", "Coyote" Eubanks, age 74, passed away at home on Sunday, April 27th surrounded by many family members. Also in attendance were his three dogs, two of whom he rescued, Sadie and Rosie, and Damien all loved deeply. Michael loved the outdoors and spending time in the mountains and forests. He tried to pass that on to his family. He met and married wife Lora in 1968. They lived in the foothills of Mt. Baker above Acme for 45 years, He also drove cab for YELLOW CAB for years. He met many fascinating people and is where he got his nickname, "Coyote". He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lora, his oldest son, Sy Eubanks, his daughter Michelle Eubanks Standefer and her husband Justin Standefer, his youngest son, Case Eubanks and his wife of 7 years, Angela Eubanks. Grandchildren are Mason Eubanks, Odin Eubanks, Kylie Smeall, Kaleb Smeall, Jalen West, Sophia Standefer, and finally Alexis Eubanks, and Colton Eubanks who were at their grandfather's side until the end. Also surviving him is sister- in law- Mary Oberg. One of Michael's dearest hopes in life was to take care of family always. He did that to the best of his ability and was remarkably successful. All who knew and loved him, especially his family, will miss Michael. We want to say thank you to the University of Washington Cancer Research and Treatment Center. Thanks also to Hospice. You were all wonderful and made his passing peaceful and comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to University of Washington Cancer Research and Treatment center. There will be no services at Michael's request. Cremation was by Mt. Baker Cremation Society.
