Paul Nicholas Hoffman, was called home by his Heavenly Father on February 19, 2014 in Bellingham, WA. He was 78, born on January 6, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Nicholas and Gladys (Holt) Hoffman. Paul retired from the U.S. Army in 1976. He served as a medic in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star Medal among other awards. Paul had a deep and abiding faith in God and was an avid fisherman. He was a longtime volunteer in Community Youth Services, Stephen Ministry, Couples for Christ, and soup kitchen transportation. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2011 and is survived by his 2 daughters, Lillian Harris and husband Steven, Holly Mullins and husband Kevin;3 grandchildren, Brittany, Cole, and Emily Harris;3 sisters, Carol Searles, Sandy Williams, and Susan Hoffman. Visitation will be Monday, February 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Moles Farewell Tributes in Bellingham.
