Kristofer M. R. Watson
1994-2013 SHAFTSBURY Kristofer M. R. Watson, age 18, a resident of Reservoir Road in Shaftsbury, Vt., died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home unexpectedly.
He was born on May 18, 1994 in Cambridge, N.Y., and was the son of Michael Watson of Shaftsbury and Kendy (Brown) Watson of Arlington. He received his education in Arlington, Vt., and Bennington at the CDC.
Kristofer was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and spending time around a good bonfire. Kristofer would often take his motorcycle or four-wheeler and hit the trails or simply cut new ones. He was a very positive young man, and very gentle. Always there to offer a helping hand. He loved listening to music, hanging out with his buddies and working with computers. He loved the time he spent living in Southport, North Carolina. Kristofer was a former Junior
Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister Heidi Trachte of Arlington, Vt., one brother David Trachte II, of Rupert, Vt. He leaves his grandparents, Harry Brown of West Arlington, Vt., and Joyce Brine of North Bennington, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and several close friends, and his best friend Addie-Pum.
FUNERAL NOTICE: The family will be receiving friends at the Arlington Fire Department on Saturday afternoon, March 2, starting at 4:30 p.m.
A bonfire memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shaftsbury Fire Department through the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main Street , Bennington , VT 05201
