Richard "Dick" Trimble Hanley

1921-2013 Richard "Dick" Trimble Hanley, 92, passed away peacefully in his home on November 6, 2013, in Folsom, Calif. Dick was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, on March 16, 1921, to Newton and Hannah Hanley. He is a graduate of Culver Military Academy and Michigan State University. Dick was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army serving in World War II with the 101st Airborne Division. After serving in World War II, he moved to San Diego where he worked in business and sales before opening his own art gallery: The Hanley Gallery. Dick is survived by his wife, Peggee; son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Meg and sister, Barbara Raney Hanley (of Pittsfield). Although Dick recently moved to Folsom, he considered San Diego his home where he lived for over 60 years. A private service for family will be held in San Diego, at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
