Shirley A. Mathieu
1937-2013 Shirley A. Mathieu, 75, formerly from Pittsfield, was called home, on June 30, surrounded by her children, after battling breast cancer for 6 years.
Born on Aug 3, 1937, in Swansea, MA, to Charles Mathieu and Doris Malone, she lived in New England. After raising 7 children and running a successful business, she moved to San Diego, CA, until diagnosed with breast cancer. She returned to NY to be with family.
Surviving are her children, Michael Bellinger, of Houston, TX; Mark Bellinger, and wife, Heather, of Warsaw, NY; Nancy Sherman of Lee, MA; John Greenleaf, Jr. of Macedon, NY; Linda Walters and husband Marvin, also of Macedon; Ronald Greenleaf, and wife, Roek of Knoxville, TN; Don Greenleaf and wife Reny, of Fort Worth, TX. She was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles Mathieu and wife, Loretta, of San Francisco, CA; Ken Mathieu, of San Diego, CA; Ron Mathieu and wife June, of Webster, NY, and Carol Bennett of Pittsfield MA;
