Obituary Condolences

DOBRO, David Of Peabody, formerly of North Attleboro. Entered into rest June 19, 2014 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Freda (Morris) Dobro. Devoted father of Ellen Tobin, Matthew Dobro and the late Michael Dobro and Coranth Gryphon. Loving bro-ther of Betty Baker and the late Molly Churwin. Cherished grandfather of Jason, Colin, Ava, and Nathan. David was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He served aboard LCTs during the D Day Invasion, where he landed on Omaha Beach. Later in the war he served aboard the USS Dayton. Services will be held at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., CANTON, MA on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston, MA 02108.
