1932 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
MALIN, Donald J. 81, of Winter Park, Florida and Gilford, NH, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Joan (Downey) Malin, his four children; Edward and his wife Bonnie of Gilford, NH, Nancy Henry of Londonderry, NH, William and his wife Kim of Manchester, NH and Paul of Avon, Colorado, his two grandchildren Ryan and Sean Henry of Londonderry, NH, three brothers; John, James, Thomas and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Stella Malin and two brothers; Michael and William. Donald served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956, serving on the aircraft carrier Midway. He was employed by Raytheon Company of Massachusetts for 39 years at various locations. In 1974 he transferred to Orlando Florida to work on the Patriot Missile Program at Lockheed Martin. He retired from there in 1995. Funeral from the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, SOMERVILLE on Thursday at 8:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Josephs Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Donations in Donalds memory may be made to the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Association, P.O.
